My Mission

Chronic Illness is a widespread, and preventable, health crisis.

After struggling for years with varying illnesses, it became clear to me that the only way I could heal is by looking at alternatives – I had become frustrated with the lack of progress conventional medical doctors had to offer, and the ongoing cycle of treating the symptoms but not the source. I knew there had to be a better way.

After doing a deep dive into ancient, alternative, and integrated healing systems I came across a newly formed profession called Functional Medicine. Focused on all components of the body’s systems and how they interact among genes, the environment, and lifestyle, I began to see results within weeks of applying the practice. Using an individualized, evidenced-based biological approach to my own healing, the chronic disease that had plagued me for 18 long years improved dramatically. Within months, I was completely in remission.

Experiencing the power of Functional Medicine first-hand through healing myself has changed my life. Determined to share this evolution of medicine with my patients, I went on to extensively study this modality. Using a combination of Functional Medicine, Chiropractic care, Acupuncture, Health Coaching, and other integrated modalities, I built a new model of healing to help diagnose, prevent and reverse chronic disease.

My Goal

My goal is to change how we participate and engage in healing with a fully individualized and hands-on approach to medicine. I believe that we each hold the right to take an active role in our own healing process, and by doing so can reverse years of chronic health problems. It is my mission to assist you in discovering the root cause of your health problems and to educate and enlighten you on how to heal yourself, so these problems become a thing of the past. I am incredibly passionate about functional health, healing, happiness & longevity, and I dream of a future where the emphasis of healthcare will be on staying well instead of getting well. ~Dan Cooper D.C..
